Job Description

Civil Engineer

• Review and evaluate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) designs and drawings.
• Ensure MEP designs comply with project specifications, standards, and local codes.
• Coordinate MEP activities with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Oversee the installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Ensure that all MEP installations are performed according to approved shop drawings and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to design and safety regulations.
• Manage the testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Ensure all systems function properly and meet performance requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports and handover documentation.
• Identify and address MEP-related issues during construction.
• Provide technical support to site teams and resolve conflicts between different trades.
• Ensure MEP works comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Promote best practices to minimize risks associated with MEP installations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Valid UAE driving license.

Excellent English proficiency (verbal and written) and communication skills.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software are a plus.
