We seek an experienced, driven civil engineer with a wealth of industry knowledge. To ensure success, the ideal candidate should be comfortable splitting their hours between the office, on-site visits, and attending council meetings.

BE in civil engineering with five years of experience in site management.

Civil engineers should be critical thinkers with sound mathematics and physics subject knowledge to identify and solve engineering problems. You must also possess a certain level of creativity to present innovative solutions and improve technical processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Design:
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Create and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site inspections.
• The successful candidate can communicate ideas, make recommendations, and negotiate project details with their team, subcontractors, and clients.
• Resolve day-to-day problems on the job site and inspect all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and stakeholders to optimise project designs and construction plans.

Process knowledge of building construction project

Ability to receive all construction items as well as the highest quality

Attend Project progress/coordination meetings where necessary.

Liaise with the Project Control to monitor variation/ claim aspects across the Company.

Attend and contribute to the status of claims and associated actions at monthly target meetings.

Contractual correspondence with the Project Manager and PQS for complicated/major claim issues.

Final Accounts (Client / Subcontractors) in conjunction with relevant parties.

Monitor Tender/Contract Comparison efforts continuously with the relevant staff. Review Contract Review Checklists periodically.

Companywide Claims identification and administration

Review all subcontractor's claims issues whenever necessary.

Periodic review of Payment Certificates for all subcontractors to ensure that payments are being made as per the subcontract agreements.

Contractual/Claim issues relating to Client payment demands up to the Final Account.

Construction Management:

• Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Quality Assurance:

• Regular site visits and inspections should be conducted to monitor progress and quality.
• Identify and resolve any engineering or construction issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare detailed reports, documentation(Submittals & daily reports)
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and updates.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

SOFTWARE SKILLS

• AUTOCAD, PRIMAVERA ,MS PROJECT

Any other assignments related to the nature of the job assigned by the management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
