Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with at least two years of experience working in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in civil engineering principles, a strong understanding of local regulations, and hands-on experience managing and executing projects within the region. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple responsibilities to ensure the successful completion of infrastructure and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Key Responsibilities for Civil Engineer (Budgeting, Estimation, Quotations Focus)

In this role, the primary focus will be on the financial and planning aspects of civil engineering projects, including budgeting, cost estimation, and preparation of quotations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial planning for construction projects and a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate cost control.

• Budgeting & Financial Management
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Track expenses throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and addressing variances to maintain budget integrity.
• Provide regular budgetary reports and updates to project stakeholders.
• Cost Estimation
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other resources required for each phase of the project.
• Conduct detailed analyses of project requirements to produce precise cost forecasts.
• Continuously update estimates based on project changes and market conditions.
• Quotation Preparation & Review
• Develop detailed quotations for prospective projects, covering all aspects of the project scope and associated costs.
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and optimize costs.
• Evaluate received quotations, ensuring alignment with project needs and budget constraints.
• Resource Planning
• Work closely with project managers to plan resource allocations and scheduling based on budget and project timelines.
• Identify potential cost-saving measures without compromising quality or project standards.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and reduce procurement costs.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate budgetary needs and adjustments.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain comprehensive records of all budgeting, estimation, and quotation activities.
• Prepare detailed reports and summaries of financial data, providing insights and recommendations for project improvements.

This role requires a strong foundation in budgeting and financial analysis, combined with technical knowledge to ensure efficient project execution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
