Job Description

• Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control plans.
• Inspect materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess the quality of construction activities.
• Identify and document any quality issues and work with the construction team to resolve them.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve quality standards and processes.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
• Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders.
• Train and mentor construction staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Ability to receive all construction items as well as the highest quality.
• Attend Project progress/coordination meetings where necessary

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Contractual correspondence with the Project Manager and PQS for complicated/major claim issues.
• Contract Review Checklists periodically.
• With 3 years experience in UAE in real estate
