Job Vacancy: Civil/Mechanical Engineer - Steel Fabrication

Responsibilities:

• Shop Drawing Preparation: Create detailed and precise shop drawings for steel fabrication projects.
• Material Submittal: Prepare and manage material submittals for approval by clients and regulatory bodies.
• Structural Calculations: Perform structural calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of steel structures.
• Coordination: Work closely with foremen and other team members to ensure work progress aligns with project timelines.
• Procurement & Material Tracking: Oversee the procurement of materials and track inventory to ensure timely availability.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets the company's quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations.
• Project Management: Assist in planning, executing, and completing projects on time and within budget.
• Client Interaction: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project status.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in steel fabrication and structural engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and material tracking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Experience in project management.
• Familiarity with local building codes and industry standards.
