Job Description

• Education: To work as an estimator engineer, applicants are required to have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
• Knowledge: They must possess practical estimating or engineering experience, specific knowledge of estimating techniques, and ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems. ). It is also important that they can utilize technical diagramming tools (Visio, LucidChart, and Cacoo)
• Computer skills: It is also important that applicants for the estimation engineer role have proficient skills with Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. They must also be knowledgeable of estimation software such as Cubit, Sage Estimating, and Knowify
• Communication and interpersonal skills: In executing their job, estimation engineers communicate with various stakeholders and also act as interface with the project owners, contractors, project managers, etc. Therefore, it is important that applicants have great communication and relationship building skills
• Analytical Skills: It is important for estimation engineers to analyze preliminary data, historical data, construction sites, and deliverables, etc., to determine the scope of work and project estimate. It is important that they have exceptional analytical skills to utilize every piece of information they need and arrive at valid estimates for a project
• Collaboration skills: The estimation engineer job also involves working with different teams, including engineers, marketers, and project management professionals to actualize a project. Therefore, estimation engineers need to have collaboration skills to succeed on the job.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
