Job Description

Role Summary:

The Project Engineer plays a crucial role in project planning, procurement, construction, quality control, documentation, and risk management. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, at least 5 years of experience, and preferably PMP certification. Key responsibilities include collaborating with team members, developing project plans, overseeing construction, managing on-site activities, and ensuring project success through industry awareness, team leadership, networking, project management, and evaluation of contractual aspects. The Project Engineer interacts with internal management and external subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities to ensure project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project goals, objectives, and scope in collaboration with team members.
• Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing timelines, resource needs, and budget estimates.
• Aid in the procurement process by specifying necessary materials and equipment.
• Participate in supplier selection, contract negotiation, and ensuring timely material delivery.
• Supervise the construction and implementation phase, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
• Manage on-site activities, including scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Resolve issues and challenges arising during construction promptly and efficiently.
• Enforce quality control measures to uphold project standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify work and material quality.
• Maintain thorough project documentation, including design drawings and progress reports.
• Provide regular status updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
• Monitor project costs to align with the budget.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

- Mandatory Membership /certification from Abu Dhabi Municipality

- Preferred PMP certification

- 5+ years of experience in Civil Engineering

- Constructions Related Professional Training, Certification preferred
