Job Summary

As a Civil Engineer reporting directly to Head of Engineering Dept., you'll collaborate with architects, construction teams, and professionals to integrate civil engineering aspects seamlessly into building design. Prioritizing sustainability and efficiency, you'll work to minimize environmental impact. Most duties are conducted outdoors at Al Forsan Premises, with occasional offsite work during tournaments and events.

Conditions of Work

While main duties are predominately carried out in the Al Forsan Premises, work will be mainly outdoors onsite & often offsite during tournaments and events.

Main duties & responsibilities

• Ensure reactive, preventive, and day-to-day maintenance activities for civil engineering aspects.
• Maintain all civil structures and infrastructure in excellent condition, focusing on safety and efficiency.
• Provide engineering support across departments as directed by Top Management.
• Conduct annual civil engineering audits and oversee corrective actions.
• Review civil engineering operations and liaise with Top Management regularly.
• Establish and maintain civil engineering standards and policies, seeking continuous improvement.
• Set objectives for sustainable practices and monitor performance, conducting regular training on environmentally-friendly practices.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and safety procedures.
• Drive implementation of government regulations related to civil engineering safety.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs for civil structures and conduct regular inspections.
• Advise Top Management on civil engineering matters and safety standards.
• Ensure efficient handling of civil engineering requests and prepare accurate operational reports.
• Engage and monitor outside contractors to ensure quality work.
• Supervise inventory supply for optimal operating efficiency.
• Managing, designing, developing, creating and maintaining construction projects
• Conducting on-site investigations and analysing data
• Assessing potential risks, materials and costs
• Support resort Social Responsibility programs with environmentally-friendly civil engineering practices.

General

• Stay updated on civil engineering advancements and make recommendations.
• Coach, counsel, discipline, and develop subordinates.
• Ensure associates are selected, trained, evaluated, and rewarded appropriately.
• Maintain knowledge of health and safety, fire, and emergency procedures.
• Ensure all activities adhere to local laws and ethical standards.
• Uphold professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Relevant experience in civil engineering, with exposure to various projects such as infrastructure, buildings, and landscaping.

Driving license required.

Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience as a Civil Engineer, preferably in Hospitality, Sports Recreation, or Real Estate.

Practical knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Expertise in project management and construction processes.

Collaboration skills with architects, contractors, and other professionals.

Computer software literacy, including MS Office and optionally CAD/Civil design software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
