Civil Draftsman
Job Description
A civil draftsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects, such as roads, bridges, buildings, and infrastructure. They work closely with engineers and architects to translate their designs and specifications into accurate and precise drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Civil draftsmen must have a strong understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques, and building codes to ensure that their drawings are compliant and meet project requirements. They may also be responsible for revising and updating drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders and conducting site visits to gather additional information for their designs. Attention to detail, accuracy, and proficiency in CAD software are essential skills for civil draftsmen.
