Civil Construction Estimator / Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
Sercon is looking for an amazingly talented Quantity Surveyor/Civil Construction Estimator to join our team! In this role you will get to perform standard estimating activities typical to the engineering and construction industry.
Job description:
• Track changes to construction work and adjust budget projections
• Estimation of concrete forming, concrete, rebar, excavation, pipe laying
• Experience in pre contract QS, including managing and preparing the response to new tenders
• Experience in post contract QS, including issuing progress claims, interim payments and follow ups
Skills:
• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 3 years experience working as QS/ estimator
• Minimum 3 years experience in building Bill Of Quantities (BOQ)
• Experience in Take Offs (Underground Utilities, and Concrete Quantities)
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of pre and post-contract administration
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work independently
• A systematic work philosophy with keen attention to detail
• Proficient in utilizing software to enhance a construction project's productivity
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED6,500.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
