General Description of Role and Responsibilities: Acting as the main technical adviser on infrastructure facilities like Roads and Civil works. Maintenance of the Road directional signage, Warning and Control signs per the ADM/DOT Standard. Checking technical drawings for adherence to standards and maintaining operational compliance. Operation and Maintenance of the infra & Recreation projects as per ADM standards. Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications. Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials. Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design and specification. Liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project. Liaising with the local authority to ensure compliance with local stakeholders' regulations. Liaising with stakeholders and their representatives (engineers and management ), including attending regular meetings to inform them of progress. Planning the work and organizing the plant and site facilities to meet agreed deadlines. Overseeing quality control, health, and safety matters on site. Preparing reports as required. Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: A degree in civil engineering is required. 10 or more years of experience in managing similar packages. Ability to think ahead, identify new opportunities and create new and innovative approaches to work-related issues. Demonstrates a determination, desire to succeed and a wish to progress and develop. Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite or Primavera. Excellent numerical and communication skills.
