Impact & Scope
The City Head serves as General Manager of a Score Plus Education Center. This Center provides Test Preparation, Admissions Consulting, Languages Training, and Academic Tutoring support for students seeking to excel in a career for higher studies and better employment opportunities. The City Head oversees all aspects of the center including staffing; sales, service, academics, and the overall center P & L. He/she will hire, manage, and coach a team of counselors/advisors and coordinators to achieve financial, service, and academic outcomes.
Responsiblities
Run & Teach quality test preparation & languages courses throughout the UAE region if required, overseeing all course staffing and operations. Ensure classes and marketing events are properly staffed and scheduled; maximizing teacher availability. Professional development of staff is an important role and you are required to run these sessions as and when required.
Responsible for having complete market knowledge and understanding each of the test type, consumer needs, and competition. Profitably manage each product line.
Develop and implement the appropriate correct product strategies including product mix, pricing, positioning and sales/marketing strategies. Work with the school counselors for high school outreach and marketing.
Responsible of UAE Schools and Colleges Marketing, Institutional and School tie ups. Conducting school events, mock tests. Coordinating with various universities in UAE and outside for school, college, MBA Events.
Form strategic partnership with School, Colleges and Universities to conduct in-house classes for standardized tests & languages.
Oversee timely staffing of all courses and tutoring assignments; ensure adequate and cost effective course enrollment levels in accordance with Scoreplus standards
Oversee part-time teacher recruiting, hiring, and training processes, to ensure appropriate resources exist to adequately staff our programs with high quality instructors; monitor final evaluations and net promoter ratings to track teacher and tutor performance, and take appropriate action to deal with underperformers
Ensure responsiveness to the customer and identify areas for improvements in service, staffing and operations that will increase customer satisfaction and affect TPR and inlingua product offerings
Business Development & Strategy
? Drive growth of the Center business through the development and execution of marketing and sales plans
? Providing complete information to clients based on their needs and aspirations
? Encouraging telephonic leads and leads from other sources to walk into the center for counseling
? By cross-selling relevant products
? Hire, train, and coach team to achieve targets
? Create a welcoming and supportive Center culture for our students and Parents
? Oversee the academic progress of students and assist them in planning their studies and achieving their goals
? Work collaboratively with other departments including outside sales, curriculum, and executive leadership to improve outcomes
? Ensure proper staffing and provide ongoing training and development of staff
? Manage key performance metrics including sales, student retention, academic excellence, and expense management
? Ensure excellence in all student experiences in the local center. Provide enthusiastic, hands-on customer service.
? Conduct presentations to school counselors, prospective and enrolled students
? Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, colleges, and institutions within the territory.
? Oversee facilities management
? Administer and Coordinate Center Licenses, Staff Visas, and other day-to-day Center Operations as per the requirement of the Corporate Office.

Requirements
? Bachelors or Masters Degree (B.E / B.Tech. / MBA /M.Sc / M.Com)
? 7+ years experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role in the education industry. Further previous experience in a teaching or training role will be preferred
? Must be willing to work extended hours (including evenings and weekends), as needed, to meet business objectives
