Our client, a pioneering entity in the UAE with a vision of transforming mobility and establishing smarter cities, is seeking a CIO with a solid track record to lead transformational projects. As the CIO, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing visionary investment strategies within the mobility sector to drive the realization of smarter cities in the UAE.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and refine the investment strategy for the mobility sectors, aligning it with the goal of transforming mobility and establishing smarter cities in the UAE
- Proactively identify and source potential investment opportunities through extensive industry research, networking, and relationship-building with key industry stakeholders
- Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, assessing potential investments based on financial analysis, market research, and alignment with the organization\'s transformational objectives
- Oversee end-to-end deal execution, including financial modeling, structuring, negotiation, and documentation, both for direct investments and collaborative ventures
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess risks and opportunities, ensuring robust due diligence and successful project execution
- Cultivate strong relationships with external advisors, legal counsel, investment banks, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Collaborate effectively with external partners to adhere to regulatory and legal requirements, ensuring seamless transactions
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes within the mobility sector to inform investment decisions
- Prepare and present investment proposals, progress reports, and portfolio updates to senior management and decision-makers
- Provide clear and concise communication on investment performance, risks, and opportunities to both internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the mobility sector
- Demonstrated success in originating, executing, and managing investments in these sectors on a global scale
- Strong financial acumen, with expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring
- Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple transformative projects concurrently
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
