We are a Speciality Bakery and Pastry Shop looking for an individual who is experienced in Chocolate making, will measure, mix, cook, and freeze ingredients to make frozen desserts, such as ice cream and gelato.
Ideal candidate is interested and willing to assist in all facets of crafting high quality Gelato and Chocolate. Must be clean, responsible, and very hard working. In addition, the ability to juggle many tasks and produce large quantities of product is critical. The incumbent must possess the ability to work as part of a team and independently with focus and dedication to the job. This is a professional kitchen and we expect professionalism from all of our employees.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Create various chocolate products, including truffles, pralines, bars, bonbons, and decorative items.
• Temper chocolate to achieve the right texture, gloss, and snap.
• Develop new chocolate recipes and customize flavors to meet market trends or customer demands.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Design and decorate chocolates using molds, piping techniques, or artistic designs.
• Operate and maintain machinery such as chocolate tempering machines and molds.
• Manage stock levels for raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
• Minimize waste while optimizing production efficiency.
• Maintain the chocolate-making equipment and all ingredients involved in chocolate production to be up to standard, including cleaning and sterilizing the equipment, properly storing the ingredients, and maintaining accurate records of production and ingredient usage.
Must have good knowledge for preparing and making Chocolate
Languages
• English is a must.
• Ability to speak French is an added advantage
