The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with a strong ability to translate written and verbal communication accurately. You will play a key role in facilitating effective communication between our Chinese-speaking clients, candidates, and internal teams.
As a translator, your work will ensure that all translated content meets high-quality standards and serves the needs of both the business and the candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate and interpret written documents, emails, and other communications from Chinese (Mandarin) to English and vice versa.
Provide real-time translation during meetings, interviews, and phone calls between Chinese-speaking clients and the recruitment team.
Assist with the translation of job descriptions, recruitment materials, and candidate profiles.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all translations, ensuring the information is clear and precise.
Review and edit translations to ensure language accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistency.
Ensure smooth communication between clients and candidates, overcoming language barriers.
Coordinate with the recruitment team to provide translations for onboarding, company policies, and other HR-related documents.
Work closely with the recruitment team to support recruitment campaigns, job fairs, and other client-facing activities.
Provide language support for both the internal team and clients, as necessary.
Requirements:
Native or fluent Chinese (Mandarin) speaker with strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
Proven experience in translation, particularly in business or recruitment-related content.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience with recruitment or HR terminology is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and translation software.
