The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for leading the technology strategy and ensuring the development of secure, scalable, and innovative fintech solutions. Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute a technology strategy that supports the company's vision, focusing on scalable and secure financial solutions. Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing technology team covering product development, engineering, data analytics, and cloud infrastructure. Cultivate a culture of innovation and excellence within the technology team, ensuring alignment with company-wide goals and values.
2. Technology & Product Development

Oversee the architecture and development of fintech platforms, ensuring they meet customer needs and regulatory requirements. Drive innovation in product development, including integrating emerging technologies like AI, blockchain, and machine learning to enhance product offerings. Manage the end-to-end development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and continuous improvement.
3. Collaboration & Communication:

Collaborate with senior executives (e.g., CEO, CFO, CTO) to align technology initiatives with business objectives. Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and board, providing updates on technology trends, progress, and risks. Engage with external partners, regulators, and customers to advocate for the company's technology vision and advancements.
4. Risk Management & Security

Ensure that the company's technology systems are secure, resilient, and comply with local and international regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR). Work closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to ensure the integration of strong security practices within technology and product offerings. Stay up to date with cybersecurity best practices and ensure that all technology infrastructure meets high-security standards.
5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Lead the adoption of new technologies and tools to keep the company at the forefront of fintech innovation. Evaluate emerging technologies, trends, and solutions that can optimize the company's technology stack and improve operational efficiencies. Promote continuous improvement through the implementation of best practices and advanced technology solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred). 10+ years of experience in senior technology leadership roles, ideally within the fintech or financial services industry. Proven experience in managing complex technology teams and overseeing large-scale product development. Professional certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Blockchain) are highly desirable. Strong knowledge of fintech products, platforms, and regulations. Expertise in cloud computing, data analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and build scalable technology solutions in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with financial trading systems and payment gateways is a bonus.

Added Advantage:

Experience in AI, blockchain, and data security in fintech applications. Familiarity with Forex and other financial trading products.
