Our client who is a leading logistics business is looking to hire a Chief Strategy Officer at the group level. The role is to develop and lead the Group\xe2\x80\x99s long term strategic, investment and innovation initiatives to identify new business opportunities, safeguard the Group\xe2\x80\x99s business portfolios.
Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive, inclusive Corporate vision and growth strategy by collaborating with the Group CEO and ensure the successful formulation, communication and execution of the business\xe2\x80\x99 strategy across all entities
Oversee the development of broad functional strategy (long and short term) across the departments in line with the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of the Group
Review and recommend the overall policies and procedures of Strategy, Investment, Innovation units and Executive Office
Provide guidelines for the overall corporate strategy formulation to ensure alignment across the group
Lead the development and continuous strategic planning process strategy and working closely with the GCEO and leaders across the organization and translating them into actionable and tangible plans
Recommend subsidiaries business plans (vision, mission, strategic objectives, and imperatives) in line with top-down targets as well as forecasts on revenues and costs
Lead the Executive Office\'s operations in the area\xe2\x80\x99s strategy & business planning, project & corporate performance management, financial & investment planning and advisory support in line with Group\xe2\x80\x99s vision
Requirements:
15+ years of expertise in strategy development, innovation, and/or corporate finance with the ability to translate complex information into actionable recommendations
Must have lead group level transformation projects including digital transformation
Logistics industry experience preferred, but could come from related industries
Masters degree in business administration, Strategic Management, or related field is preferred
Strong experience in Strategy Development & Implementation
Good understanding of the market such as current trends, developments and actions of relevant players (corporate & governmental), outlining potential opportunities etc
