Job Title: Chief Operating OfficerLocation: Dubai, UAE About the Role: Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical, food, and nutraceutical industries, seeks a dynamic and results-oriented COO / Deputy to the CEO, to join their EMEA regional headquarters in Dubai. This pivotal role will work closely with the CEO to drive operational excellence, strategic growth initiatives, and overall business performance across the EMEA region. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the EMEA business, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with department heads across the Business Group (Worldwide) to streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and achieve operational targets.
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and drive continuous improvement.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Partner with the CEO to develop and implement the strategic vision for the EMEA region.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market expansion, product development, and strategic partnerships.
Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Financial Performance Management:
Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring financial discipline and resource optimization.
Drive profitability and revenue growth through effective cost management and revenue generation strategies.
Team Leadership & Development:
Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Stakeholder Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, regulators, and industry partners across the EMEA region.
Engage with local communities to build social responsibility and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications:
Master\'s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years in senior leadership roles within the pharmaceutical, food, or chemical industries.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or European languages is a plus.
