  • Advise the Senior Manager, Faculty on all course development and delivery functions including instructor progress and performance.
  • Supervise and train all instructors within the Electronics and Armament section in preparing and delivering standard performance oriented best practise training.
  • Ensure all training is developed and executed in accordance with the Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
  • Ensure all assigned instructors use all coaching and remedial training methods required to maintain the highest possible graduation rate (ensuring all standards are met).
  • Supervise the organising and delivery of National Service courses.
  • Supervise the preparation and delivery of operator's courses, and the testing and evaluation of GMC technicians.
  • Maintain records of instructor performance, providing them with regular counselling and with thirty day, six month and annual competence/performance evaluations.
  • Develop lesson plans and integrate computer technology enhancements (learning management system, student information system, and virtual and augmented reality training) into course delivery.
  • Ensure all administrative support for courses, conferences, seminars and any exercises hosted by the section instructors has been coordinated with the relevant individuals.
  • Ensure all equipment, supplies and computer support is maintained and accounted for.
  • Support other members of the faculty in fulfilling their roles.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.
  • Perform other duties as required by Senior Manager, Faculty and the Director, Technical Training School.
Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor degree required, Master degree preferred, or Equivalent years of Experiences in the same field
  • Graduate of a recognised school or military training program in combat vehicles is preferred.
  • A minimum of six to eight years of experience as a senior instructor is preferred.
  • A minimum of six years of experience as an instructor in combat vehicle technical training is required.
  • A minimum of five years of military experience is an advantage.
  • Previous experience applying the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) is an advantage.
  • Excellent writing skills with aptitude in preparing studies, briefings or doctrinal literature on a subject matter is an advantage.
  • The ability to conduct analysis, and develop performance-oriented instruction and lesson plans is required.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
  • Have, or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver's license
