Our client is a Digital Asset Wealth Management platform regulated by FSRA and based in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join their team. The platform is designed for traditional finance professionals and investors to easily gain exposure to the emerging Digital Assets class and more effectively manage their own or clients\' assets and portfolios. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive information security strategy and framework.
- Oversee the identification, assessment, and prioritization of information security risks, and implement appropriate controls to mitigate these risks.
- Lead the design and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures to protect the organizations information assets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards for information security.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate security measures into the development and implementation of technical solutions.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Respond to and manage security incidents and breaches, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
- Provide security awareness training to employees and promote a culture of security throughout the organization.
- Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions, and apply this knowledge to improve our security posture.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in information security for wealth management, experience with digital assets or consulting firms is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop security talent.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of digital assets and blockchain technology is a plus but not required.
