Chief Financial OfficerDubai, UAERole Summary: The role will encompass a wide range of financial functions, including budgeting and cost management, cash flow management, financial reporting, fund raising and investor relations, treasury management, taxation, legal and corporate governance.Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Planning- Collaborate MD and other key stakeholders to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and vision
Budgeting and Cost Management- Develop, implement, monitor and analyze company budgets aligned with the company's strategic objectives and identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvement. * Cash Flow Management- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds for daily operations and strategic initiatives.
Accounts and Financial Reporting/ Analysis- Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
Fund Raising and Investor Relations- Collaborate with Banks and Financial institutions to plan the long term /short term funding required for enable the Business. Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop fundraising strategies to support growth plans, including IPO readiness
Treasury & Taxation Management - Corporate Governance & Legal Affairs- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory entities and egal matters, including corporate, contractual, intellectual property, real estate, and litigation issues.
Requirements:
Around 15 years of experience out of which at least 5 year at leadership position in FMCG/food and beverage set up.
Proven experience as a CFO or a similar leadership role in fast paced entrepreneurial company with a turnover of at least AED 700 million - 1billion
Demonstrated experience in successful fundraising activities, including IPO readiness. Desired but not a must
Experience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations desired though not a must
CA with great financial and business acumen.
