Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated CFO & Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations of our group of companies, manage multiple business divisions, and lead our finance team. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in finance management, strategic planning, compliance, and leadership within the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

- Develop, implement, and evaluate financial strategies in alignment with business goals.

- Provide insights on financial risks and opportunities, identifying potential growth areas.

- Partner with the CEO and executive team to shape business strategies and financial planning.

Budgeting, Cash Flow, and Treasury:

- Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow projections, and financial reports.

- Manage banking facilities, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Overdrafts (OD), Bonds, Leasing, etc.

- Oversee treasury functions, working capital management, and ensure effective cash flow.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Oversee financial reporting, variance analysis, and statutory audits, ensuring adherence to IFRS and UAE labor laws.

- Lead the preparation of MIS reports, general ledger reviews, and monthly/annual statutory financial statements.

System Implementation & Compliance:

- Implement and maintain ERP systems and other financial software for enhanced efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with VAT/Corporate Tax, statutory reporting, and internal control procedures.

- Collaborate on contracts review and finalization, including project finance agreements.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor the accounts and finance team across all business units.

- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

- Ensure an effective working environment for the team and manage the recruitment and training of finance staff.

Key Requirements:

- • Educational Background:•

- CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent accounting/finance qualification.

- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (MBA), or related field.

Experience:

- At least 10 years of progressive financial experience in construction, real estate, hospitality, or manufacturing industries , with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role in the UAE.

- Proven track record in implementing financial systems, developing finance strategies, and leading finance teams .

Technical Skills:

- Expertise in ERP systems such as Sage, QuickBooks, MYOB, or similar accounting platforms .

- Strong understanding of project accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), cash flow management, and procurement .

- Experience managing banking facilities , including LCs, ODs, and trade financing .

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills:

- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience in team building, mentoring, and overseeing multiple finance divisions .

- Ability to work closely with executive management, providing financial advice and strategic input to business decisions.

- Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal teams, external auditors, consultants, and other stakeholders.

Other Requirements:

- UAE-based experience in managing multi-business units.

- Excellent command of English (both written and verbal). Arabic is a plus.

- Proven ability to work under pressure, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
