Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for our client. This role will lead the financial strategy and operations of the organization, ensuring financial health and compliance with ADGM regulations. The CFO will oversee financial planning, risk management, reporting, and ensure that financial practices align with statutory regulations and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting team.
• Drive the financial planning process by analyzing performance and risks.
• Align financial strategy with organizational goals, exploring new revenue opportunities and optimizing operational costs.
• Participate in key decision-making as a member of the executive management team.
• Ensure compliance with ADGM regulations and legal requirements related to financial operations.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and legislation within ADGM.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results and projections.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, implementing risk management strategies in compliance with ADGM regulations.
• Manage relationships with investors and partners, effectively communicating financial performance and forecasts.
• Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for administration, programs, and proposed new sites.
• Implement systems and processes to improve the efficiency of the finance department and organization-wide operations.
• Leverage technology to optimize financial operations, enhance data analysis, and ensure financial systems' security and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
• Proven experience as CFO, finance officer, or in a relevant role, preferably in the financial services sector.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law, risk management practices, and ADGM regulatory standards.
• Proficient in the use of financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
