The Role

Westlakes Recruit is working with a prominent real estate company based in Dubai to identify a qualified Chief Finance Officer (CFO). This role is crucial to overseeing the company's financial strategy and operations, ensuring financial health and stability through effective planning, analysis, and reporting. Extensive experience in the real estate sector, particularly in the UAE market, is essential for this position. Duties & Responsibilities General Responsibilities: o Adhere to the Company Mission, Vision, and Values, ensuring all actions, decisions, and initiatives align with the company's core values and contribute to the organization's success and ethical standards. o Comply with Company Policies and Procedures, performing duties in strict accordance with established policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures. o Understand and respect the official organizational chart, following the proper chain of command and collaborating effectively with team members and leadership to foster a cohesive and respectful work environment. o Perform any other duties as required. Departmental Specialized Responsibilities: o Develop and implement financial strategies that are aligned with the company's business goals. o Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports for stakeholders. o Manage the company's cash flow and liquidity. o Identify financial risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation. o Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards. o Lead the finance team in developing financial plans and budgets. o Oversee the company's investment portfolio and make strategic investment decisions, with particular expertise in real estate investments in the UAE. o Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing recommendations for improvement. o Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with overall business operations. o Manage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions. o Provide financial analysis and advice to the executive team and board of directors. o Oversee financial audits and ensure compliance with regulations. o Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets. o Lead efforts to optimize the company's capital structure. o Stay updated on changes in financial regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant with local and international standards. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. o 10+ years of senior financial leadership experience, with extensive experience in real estate and UAE market. Preferred Qualifications: o Master's degree (MBA). o CPA certification or equivalent. o Extensive experience in financial strategy, investment management, and real estate finance. Competencies: o Strong financial management and leadership skills. o In-depth knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and real estate investment strategies. o Expertise in cash flow management and investment decision-making. o Ability to manage financial risks and develop mitigation strategies. o In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and UAE-specific legal frameworks. o Excellent communication and presentation skills. o Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. o Experience in leading financial audits and compliance initiatives. o Ability to develop and implement robust internal controls. o Strategic thinking with the ability to optimize capital structure and financial performance.
