Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our small arms ammunition factory in Doha, Qatar. The CEO will oversee the overall operations, drive growth, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and enhance the company's market position. This role requires a seasoned leader with in-depth knowledge of the defense manufacturing sector, specifically within small arms ammunition, alongside strong business acumen and expertise in managing complex operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute the company's strategic plan to achieve growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

Provide visionary leadership to maintain the company's competitive edge in the defense industry.

Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, defense contractors, and private-sector clients.

Operations Management:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the factory, ensuring production efficiency, quality control, and timely delivery of products.

Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations related to arms manufacturing and defense standards.

Business Development:

Identify new market opportunities locally and internationally to expand the company's reach.

Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to increase the company's presence in the global arms industry.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful negotiation and execution of large-scale defense contracts.

Financial Oversight:

Manage the company's financial performance, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.

Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

Ensure proper financial controls are in place, overseeing cost management, procurement, and pricing strategies.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure adherence to national and international laws regarding arms production and export.

Maintain strict security protocols for both physical and information security related to ammunition manufacturing.

Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats or disruptions in operations.

Leadership & Team Development:

Lead and mentor the senior management team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and performance.

Develop the company's talent pool, ensuring succession planning and professional development of key personnel.

Promote a safe working environment by upholding health and safety standards.

Key Qualifications:

Proven experience in a senior executive leadership role, ideally as a CEO, COO, or equivalent in the defense or manufacturing industry.

Deep knowledge of small arms ammunition manufacturing processes, regulations, and international defense markets.

Strong business acumen with experience in strategic planning, financial management, and operations oversight.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of managing diverse teams and complex stakeholder relationships.

Proven track record in business development and expanding market presence, particularly in the defense sector.

Experience working in the Middle East, with a solid understanding of the cultural and regulatory environment of Qatar.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

Government Experience:

Prior experience working with government entities, particularly in defense.

International Arms Regulation Expertise:

Knowledge of international arms regulations, including ITAR and Wassenaar Arrangement compliance.

Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is highly advantageous.
