From guiding project management to driving innovation in navigation algorithms, you\'ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Navigation systems at HALCON.Key Accountabilities:

• Establish and enhance the technical capabilities of our Navigation department, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Provide visionary leadership to the Navigation team, driving the design, strategy, and implementation of business objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of Navigation projects, from planning and development to management and reporting, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
• Develop and manage the department\'s budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and delivery of high-quality projects.
• Lead reviews of navigation simulations and test results to ensure software integrity and conformance to specifications.
• Identify and implement new algorithms to enhance navigation performance, fostering innovation within the team.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, driving continuous improvement in navigation systems.
• Stay abreast of technological advancements to identify opportunities for system enhancement.
• Motivate and mentor the Navigation team, fostering a culture of excellence and supporting career development.

Experience & Education Qualifications:

• Minimum 18+ years of experience in the development of navigation algorithms, with significant leadership experience.
• Bachelor\'s degree in Electronics or Mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Preferred 20+ years of experience in navigation systems development, preferably in the defense industry.
• Preferred Master\'s degree or higher qualification in Electronics or Mechanical engineering, with certification in control systems and optimal estimation theory.
• Proficiency in designing advanced navigation systems and techniques.
• Experience in developing and simulating navigation system algorithms.
• Knowledge of simulation models and software architecture, as well as inertial sensors.
• Strong skills in developing and debugging software.
