Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and advise on the development phases of projects, ensuring adherence to processes, standards, and procedures.
  • Provide expert consultation on the acquisition and integration of high-performance inertial navigation systems.
  • Review and enhance evaluation techniques for FOG/RLG systems, driving improvements in navigation accuracy and reliability.
  • Identify and resolve integration issues, implementing corrective actions to ensure system performance meets specifications.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies to enhance IMU performance, advising on their implementation and potential impact.
  • Mentor and advise team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to interface with external suppliers and customers, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.
  • Drive the development of new algorithms to optimize IMU performance and enhance navigation capabilities.
  • Provide strategic guidance to management on the long-term direction of IMU system development, contributing to organizational growth and success.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum twenty years\' experience in algorithm development, simulation, and modeling, with a proven track record in navigation and/or IMU systems.
  • Education: Master\'s degree in electronics or mechanical engineering, with specialized training in control systems and optimal estimation theory.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, driving innovation and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in advanced navigation system design, development, and simulation, with a deep understanding of emerging technologies in the field.
  • Visionary Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide insightful guidance on the future development of navigation systems and IMUs.
