Job Description

The Hotel Chief Engineer oversees the maintenance and repair of the hotel's physical facilities, including the building structure, mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, and other equipment. They ensure that the hotel meets safety regulations and operates efficiently. The Chief Engineer manages a team of maintenance staff and coordinates with other departments to address maintenance needs and ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and standards
• Plan and oversee maintenance projects and renovations
• Manage the hotel's budget for maintenance and repairs
• Supervise maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance needs
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and expenses

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Previous experience in maintenance or engineering, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
