The Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) is a critical leadership position responsible for guiding the company's growth strategy, focusing on sustainable and innovative construction solutions. The preferred candidate for this role would have amassed good experience working as a Business Development person in a leadership level with any of the top real estate developers in the GCC.
Key Responsibilities Building and Leading the Business Development Department: Establish and oversee a high-performing Business Development department, defining its structure, roles, and responsibilities to align with the company's strategic goals. Develop and implement business development strategies, processes, and standards to drive growth and market penetration. Strategic Partnerships: Proactively identify and engage with key stakeholders, developers, and contractors to form strategic alliances and partnerships, enhancing the company's market presence and access to new opportunities. Negotiate and secure strategic projects that demonstrate the company's capabilities and technology, establishing a strong foundation for market credibility and future growth. Industry Validation: Lead the initiatives to obtain critical industry certifications and validations, demonstrating the company's commitment to quality and innovation. Direct the creation of case studies and pilot project documentation to showcase our expertise and results in tangible terms. Market Intelligence and Expansion: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, guiding strategic decision-making and expansion strategies. Develop actionable plans to enter new markets and segments, ensuring our growth and relevance in the evolving construction industry. Brand Image/Awareness: Elevate the company's brand through targeted marketing, PR, and thought leadership initiatives, establishing the company as a leader in sustainable and innovative construction solutions. Oversee the execution of brand-building strategies to enhance our visibility and reputation in the industry. Sales and Marketing Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives and market positioning. Drive the integration of sales and marketing efforts, optimizing resource allocation and maximizing market reach and impact. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management: Develop a comprehensive customer engagement strategy to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners. Implement systems and processes to gather and analyze customer feedback, informing product development and business strategies. Innovation and Product Development Support: Align business development strategies with the company's innovation pipeline, ensuring that new products and solutions meet market needs and drive growth.
