We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our construction group in the UAE. The ideal candidate with substantial experience in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

Compilation of Group Companies Accounts:

Prepare and consolidate financial statements for all group companies.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.

Review and analyze financial data for discrepancies and variances.

Financial Management:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Develop, implement, and maintain budgeting and forecasting models.

Monitor and report on budget variances and financial performance.

Compliance and Auditing:

Ensure compliance with local financial laws and regulations.

Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.

Financial Strategy and Planning:

Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and decision-making.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure high performance and professional development.

Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CA, or equivalent certification preferred).

Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or in a senior accounting role within the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations and standards.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
