URENT HIRING: CHIEF ACCOUTANT

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Chief Accountant to manage our accounting operations in accordance with UAE finance regulations and laws. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of local accounting practices, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with UAE financial regulations.
• Accounting Management: Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE laws and regulations, including tax laws, VAT regulations, and labor laws. Prepare and file necessary tax returns and compliance documentation.
• Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors during financial audits, ensuring all required documentation and information is provided.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, perform financial forecasting, and conduct variance analysis to support management decisions.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team, promoting professional development and a collaborative work environment.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to inform strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial information and insights to management and other stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years in managerial accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant laws.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
