Job Responsibilities: Directing finance, accounting, and transactional activities for the accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger, payroll, and Treasury while ensuring effectiveness for short and long term undertakings. Establishing effective accounting policies that adhere to corporate policies, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and statutory compliance requirements, and implementing financial controls and systems to guarantee effective financial management. Preparing budgets, financial forecasts, cash flows, and achieving objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. Preparing financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, retained earnings statement) under IFRS. Managing daily cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity to allow the company to operate effectively at all times Update Monthly Closing Entries ( Fixed Assets, ROU, Provisions, Accruals, and Prepaid) Reviewing VAT and Corporate Tax returns, and ensuring their regulatory compliance with Federal Tax Authority Monthly Bank Reconcliation Update Provisions Reports ( Leave, Travel, and End of Service) to align with the ledger entries Reviewing and approving Payroll, Leave, and End of Service Requests Reviewing and approving Payments Reviewing Purchase Orders Following up on bank transactions and accounts management; Bank reconciliation, investment, shares, LCs, and bank deposits.
