Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure food quality, taste, and portion control meet restaurant/hotel standards.
Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety following UAE food safety regulations.
Assist in menu planning, food costing, and inventory management.
Monitor food storage and handling procedures to ensure freshness.
Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations.
Adapt recipes and adjust ingredients based on customer preferences and dietary requirements.
Keep up with culinary trends and new cooking techniques.
Work under pressure and manage multiple orders during peak hours.
Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils.
RequirementsRequirements:
Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field (preferred).
2-5 years of experience as a Chef or Cook (UAE experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of international and local cuisines.
Experience in hotels, restaurants, catering, or food service establishments.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume orders.
Excellent knife skills and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP preferred).
