As Chef de Partie - BBQ, we rely on you to:
- Support the Shang Palace culinary operation and a team for Michelin recognition
- Oversee all food preparation in the BBQ section of Shang Palace
- Consistently deliver and maintain the highest food quality and sanitation standards
- Ensure kitchen equipments are well maintained and operational
- Assist in maximising profitability
- Has previous experience as BBQ Chef with focus on grilling in a luxury hotel or stand-alone Chinese restaurant
- Is up to date with new culinary trends available in the market
- Is knowledgeable about HACCP guidelines
- Enjoys interacting with people
- Communicates and writes in English. Proficiency in Chinese language is preferable to liaise with Chinese speaking associates & guests in view of business communication
- Enjoys being challenged
- Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new culinary trends
- Committed to serving food of the highest quality
- Willing to work shifts
