The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing high-quality pizzas using traditional and modern techniques, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for handling all aspects of pizza preparation, from dough-making to cooking, while maintaining the highest hygiene and quality standards.JOB DUTIES
  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality pizzas according to hotel standards.
  • Handle all aspects of pizza dough preparation, fermentation, stretching, and shaping.
  • Operate and maintain pizza ovens (wood-fired, gas, or electric) efficiently.
  • Ensure consistency in the taste, texture, and presentation of pizzas.
  • Assist in menu development, introducing creative and seasonal pizza variations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels of pizza ingredients and communicate any shortages to the Head Chef.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in pizza-making techniques.
  • Work closely with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service operations.
  • Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Desired Skill & Expertise:
  • Experience as a Pizzaiolo or Chef de Partie specializing in pizza-making.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional and contemporary pizza-making techniques.
  • Experience working with different types of pizza ovens.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency in food preparation.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Passion for high-quality ingredients and authentic flavors.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
