Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Commi Chef to join our team. As a Commi Chef, you will assist our kitchen team in preparing delicious and visually appealing dishes according to our menu specifications. You will play a key role in maintaining high culinary standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and cooking of various menu items under the supervision of the Head Chef. Follow recipes and presentation specifications to meet quality standards. Ensure all food preparation and cooking areas are clean and hygienic at all times. Monitor portion control, food waste, and kitchen inventory management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient service. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations. Help with receiving and storing deliveries of supplies and ingredients. Assist with menu planning and development as needed. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. Follow proper cleaning and maintenance procedures for kitchen equipment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Commi Chef or similar role in a restaurant or cafe setting. Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures. Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure. Culinary diploma or degree is a plus. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month

Ajman: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
