Job Title : Chef de Partie (CDP)

Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie with skills in Middle Eastern and European cuisine for immediate hire. The ideal candidate will assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in menu development and daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes meet high standards of quality, presentation, and taste. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cooking and eager to contribute to the success of a fine casual/fine dining establishment.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes from the Mediterranean-Middle Eastern menu according to restaurant standards.
• Contribute to menu development and ensure smooth kitchen operations during the pre-opening phase.
• Maintain kitchen inventory, restocking ingredients, and ensuring the timely delivery of products that meet quality expectations.
• Ensure consistency in portioning, cooking, and serving of dishes.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen.
• Monitor food costs and reduce waste through proper storage and efficient usage of ingredients.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment, ensuring they are clean and functioning well.
• Work closely with the kitchen team, ensuring seamless coordination and support to ensure timely service.

Requirements and Skills :

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role at a reputable restaurant or hotel.
• Knowledge of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine is essential.
• Strong attention to detail in food presentation and flavor.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and commitment to teamwork.
