We are seeking a talented Chef de Partie specializing in French cuisine to join our culinary team. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook high-quality French dishes according to recipes and standards
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff in your section
• Assist in menu planning, inventory, and ordering of supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation adhering to food safety standards
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop new dishes and menu items
• Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profitability
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in French cuisine
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of French cooking techniques and ingredients
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Attention to detail and creativity in presentation
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
