Assist the Pastry In-charge in supervising and overseeing the daily operations of the pastry team.
Able to work with minimum supervision.
Create, prepare and present menu items and specials.
Communicate with Pastry team smoothly to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Responsible for guiding the Demi Chef de Partie and Commis and in the performance of their jobs in accordance to resort policies and procedures.
Keep a minimum waste proactively in controlling food cost levels.

QualificationsYour experience and skills include:
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position, hotel experienced is preferred.
Proficient in English.
Strong multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
Great attention to detail and creativity especially for buffet presentations.
Working knowledge of HACCP, health and safety and hygiene procedures.
Outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, flexible working hours, ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.
Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
