Summary of profile
An ideal candidate for the above role needs to be passionate about their role and genuinely be excited to work in the kitchen, preparing, cooking, and presenting high quality dishes within the specialty section.
Job responsibilities:
• Prepare mise en place and food preparation in the kitchen.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and report any issues to superiors.
• Continually develop culinary knowledge to produce high-quality meals.
• Measure, mix, and prepare meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings.
• Assess inventory and request resupply when necessary.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in a kitchen environment.
• Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.
• Able to supervise and take responsibilities when needed.
• Daily and weekly reporting
Work experience.
• Preferably at least 1 years of uae experience as a cdp in dubai
Educational qualifications
• High school education or a diploma in hospitality or culinary certification.
• A hospitality certificate from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
Essential skills, abilities & competencies required.
• Good understanding of food, health, and safety regulations
• Fluent in English is a must.
• Team player
• Must be able to stand and work for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
