We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at the bench. As a Chef de Partie specializing in food and desserts, you will play a crucial role in crafting delectable dishes and desserts that leave a lasting impression on our customers. Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation: Prepare and execute a wide range of cafe dishes and desserts in adherence to cafe recipes and quality standards.
2. Dessert Creation: Innovate and create mouthwatering desserts, ensuring they are visually appealing and taste exquisite.
3. Ingredient Management: Manage and maintain proper stock levels of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
4. Quality Control: Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size for all dishes and desserts.
5. Plating and Presentation: Artfully plate dishes and desserts to enhance their visual appeal and overall dining experience.
6. Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
7. Collaborative Team Player: Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
8. Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef and contribute creative ideas for new menu items and seasonal specials.
9. Training: Assist in training junior kitchen staff to ensure they understand and follow standard operating procedures.
10. Customer Satisfaction: Strive to exceed customer expectations by consistently delivering high-quality food and desserts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role, with a focus on food and desserts in a cafe or similar establishment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Creative flair and a passion for experimenting with flavors and presentation.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
