Job Description
:Our client, a prestigious culinary academy in Abu Dhabi, dedicated to providing exceptional education and training in the culinary arts. They are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie. The ideal candidate will have proven track record in managing culinary operations in high-pressure environments, including prestigious households, 5-star hotels, and with VVIP customers. Other duties and responsibilities would include but not limited to:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes as per set standards and recipes.
- Assist in menu planning, ensuring variety and quality in food offerings.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to kitchen standards and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie in a fast-paced, high-volume setting, including households, 5-star hotels, or equivalent.
- Expertise in preparing a wide range of cuisines with attention to presentation and flavor.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor junior staff.
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Diploma from a culinary school or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Experience in serving VVIP customers and maintaining confidentiality is highly desirable.
