Job Description

We are on the lookout for an outstanding Executive Head Chef, specializing in Indo Chinese cuisine, to lead our prestigious culinary team at Kulcha King, a celebrated chain of restaurants across the UAE, under the umbrella of HJ Investments. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of extensive experience in high-volume kitchen management, an in-depth understanding of Indo Chinese culinary techniques, and a proven history of excellence in menu development and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Culinary Innovation:

Develop, implement, and enhance authentic Indo Chinese recipes and menus that embody Kulcha King's distinct culinary vision.

Leadership & Mentorship:

Inspire, train, and mentor kitchen staff, cultivating a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration within the team.

Quality Assurance:

Consistently ensure that food quality, flavor, and presentation exceed the high standards our restaurants are known for.

Operational Oversight:

Manage all kitchen operations, including inventory control, staff scheduling, and process optimization to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Maintain rigorous adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and sanitary working environment.

Cost Management:

Monitor and effectively manage food costs while implementing strategic waste reduction initiatives to enhance profitability.

Qualifications:

Experience:

A minimum of 10 years as a Senior Chef or Executive Head Chef in a reputable Indian or Indo Chinese restaurant.

Culinary Expertise:

Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and Indo Chinese fusion styles.

Leadership Skills:

Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse culinary team, with exceptional organizational capabilities.

Passion for Culinary Arts:

A genuine enthusiasm for the culinary arts and a steadfast commitment to providing outstanding dining experiences.

Regional Expertise:

Experience in the UAE market is highly preferred.

Mobility Requirements:

Must hold a valid driving license and have access to a car, as this role entails travel to various branches across the UAE.
