Job Summary:

We are seeking for Chef to join our team in the emirate kitchen that will be the liaison between our Kitchen and its current and potential operations department.

The Chef will be responsible for preparing meals, developing menu items, and ensuring quality and consistency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts (Emirate, Arabic, Hindi and Live station....etc) and a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management.

The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to lead and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation.
• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes that meet the restaurant's standards.
• Develop and test new recipes, and continuously improve existing ones.
• Oversee and manage the kitchen staff, ensuring a cooperative and efficient environment.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
• Collaborate with the operations management on menu planning and pricing.

Qualifications:

• Arabic food knowledge is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as a Chef in Restaurants, Hotels or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of culinary arts and various cooking techniques.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Handling of hot and sharp kitchen tools and equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From AED2,200.49 per month
