Job Description

MicroTech is seeking a Chat Systems Administrator Level II for the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) at Al Udeid AB, Qatar. The CAOC team provides technical support, O&M, and system administration tasks and activities for chat suite server clients and applications. Team MicroTech currently utilizes the Trusted Solutions Trusted Internet Relay Chat Server/Client solution for secure chat and cross domain collaboration across Enterprise and AOC Weapons Systems network architectures; alternative solutions may be used in the future. Responsibilities

The candidate shall supplement government technical personnel to support the day-to-day management, operation, maintenance and administration of communications and IT systems and services in production, development, exercise and training environments. Preventive, remedial, and corrective maintenance shall be performed to ensure equipment and/or systems are in full operating condition as described by the equipment manufacturer without degradation of service. Equipment, regardless of whether or not it is providing service at any time, shall be maintained as if it were providing service.

install, patch, upgrade, tune, optimize and repair hardware and software (including operating systems, applications and databases) to maintain optimal performance. DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 (Security+) or higher ; and Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) or equivalent certification Ability to work 12-hour shift schedule Active Secret Clearance required
