Redstone Commodity Search are working with a global oil trading group looking to hire a Dry Cargo Chartering Manager to join their newly established team in Dubai

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Develop our client's nascent chartering desk in niche cargo markets by identifying significant trade/ cargo flows Grow and manage a portfolio of Supramax and Handy vessels covering ores, cement, grains, steel etc Perform voyage calculations and analyze potential options based on market trends and corporate guidelines; Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, brokers, and other relevant stakeholders in the dry cargo shipping industry. Collaborate with internal teams, such as operations, finance to align chartering activities with overall business objectives.

Key Qualifications / Experience

3-10 years of experience covering supra / handy vessels with a major operator Transferable client base in ore, cement, grains or steel industries in the Pacific, Mediterranean or Indian Ocean Proven track record with strong communication skills Excellent negotiation and communication skills to establish and maintain relationships with customers, carriers, brokers, and other stakeholders. Based in Dubai / Willing to relocate
