Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to fill the role of Chartered Accountant & Office Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our operations while also managing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of our office in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial reports, statements, and records.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and payments.
• Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with UAE regulations and internal policies.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
• Monitor cash flow and budgetary performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Taxation and Compliance:
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with UAE tax laws and deadlines.
• Stay updated on changes in UAE tax regulations, advising management on potential implications.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies in the UAE as required.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with UAE tax authorities and financial institutions.
Office Administration:
• Oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
• Maintain office efficiency by implementing and improving administrative processes and procedures.
• Manage office supplies inventory and procurement, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service.
• Assist with HR-related tasks such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management.
• Support senior management with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA or CA qualification preferred.
• Proven experience of 5 years as a Chartered Accountant or similar role, with relevant experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation laws in the UAE.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound financial decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED45,000.00 per month
