The Charter Sales Executive drives and maximizes charter sales revenues on Gama Aviation\'s managed aircraft and provide aviation solutions to our global client base. Working as part of a team, the role is to ensure that clients receive accurate, timely information and response relating to travel enquiries and charter requests.This position would be well suited to a well-rounded individual with the ability to deliver first class customer service. Able to deliver under pressure and exceed client expectations, the Charter Sales Executive provides solutions to our established client network whilst capturing new client leads and converting opportunities. Candidates must evidence experience of working within business aviation / airline industry or associated industry roles highlighting their understanding of operational requirements and responsibilities. Additionally, there will be times when the individual may need to work evenings and weekends to ensure the successful completion of tasks and to meet client needs.Within Charter Sales, no two days are the same, so the ability to multitask is an absolute essential. Integrate into a global charter sales team with support from the UK team and work as part of the team to create and implement sales strategies.
Deliver world class aviation solutions to the global charter market.
Drive sales and achieve sales revenue targets.
Retain existing client demand and generate new business leads.
Build and deliver strong client and supplier relationships within the business aviation community and direct client base.
Responsively and accurately deliver charter quotations.
Manage the charter sale life cycle.
Manage the CRM system.
Analyse market trends and competitor activity.
Analyse aircraft pricing and variable costs.
Represent the company and project the group profile and products to the wider charter audience.
Willingness to work out-of-hours and weekends on a roster system as necessary to support charter demand.
/ Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:Essential
Evidence of Business Aviation / Airline / Travel Industry (or associated industry) sales or brokering experience
Experience within a sales environment.
Demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, and the capability to work effectively independently.
Working knowledge of Aircraft Management flight operations (including aircraft performance / crew FTL\'s / airport categorization and suitability).
Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders / clients / group departments.
Excellent written and verbal English language. High standard of numeracy.
IT literate with experience of MS Office applications.
Pro-active natural communicator with a strong interpersonal skillset.
High attention to detail. An adaptable and resourceful personality.
Ability to self-motivate, perform and deliver under pressure in time critical environments.
Confident prospector (experience with cold calling is desirable).
