Position Overview:
The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales through a network of channel partners. This role requires a combination of relationship management, strategic planning, and execution to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen partner engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of channel sales processes, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in managing and growing channel partner networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Partner Management:
Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with key channel partners, distributors, and resellers to expand the company's reach and sales.
Identify new channel partners and build strong, long-lasting relationships to drive revenue.
Provide ongoing support to channel partners, ensuring they have the resources and training they need to be successful.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Create and execute a channel sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Work closely with internal sales teams to align channel sales efforts with broader company goals and objectives.
Develop joint business plans with partners to drive mutual growth and success.
Training & Enablement:
Provide training, sales tools, and resources to partners to help them sell products effectively.
Conduct regular training sessions on product offerings, value propositions, and sales strategies.
Performance Management:
Set performance metrics for channel partners and track progress against targets.
Monitor partner performance and sales activities, providing coaching and feedback to drive improvements.
Prepare regular reports on partner sales performance and pipeline status.
Market Analysis & Competitor Research:
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand industry trends.
Analyze competitor strategies and work with the internal team to adjust tactics as necessary.
Collaboration:
Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and support teams to ensure partners have access to the latest materials and product knowledge.
Support marketing campaigns, events, and promotions to help partners maximize their sales potential.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through channel partners.
Strong understanding of the channel sales model and experience working with resellers, distributors, and other indirect sales organizations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive decision-making through data.
Self-motivated, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Experience with CRM tools and sales management software (e.g., Salesforce).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in CCTV industry preffered].
Familiarity with channel partner programs, incentives, and certifications.
Previous experience in a leadership role or mentoring channel sales teams.
