Its instruments are deployed in the field and on the line, in challenging environments where customers put a premium on adaptability, reliability and ease of use. They allow them to make decisions where they operate and streamline their businesses. CAD is an advanced division with a global presence, extensive product portfolio, and diverse clientele.How will you make an impact?The Channel Manager provides sales expertise and account management leading all selling and commercial activities within existing markets for the Production Process and Analytics (PPA) business unit of the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) and will report to the Commercial Leader EMEA. This Channel Manager maintains effective customer relations, develops opportunities for growth within an existing customer base, and assures market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.What will you do?
Achieve forecasted sales goals for territory, supporting external partners and/or selling directly to customers.
Provide support and assistance to channel partners, customers, OEMs and engineering firms that will improve long-term business results and relationships.
Meet and exceed customer requirements including overall communication, responsiveness, cost awareness and scheduling sensitivities.
Maintain and continue to develop an outstanding knowledge of our products and their applications.
Select, train, and empower Independent Sales Organizations (ISO), e.g. agents, channel partners, etc to optimize achievement of our sales goals via their efforts.
Coordinate sales activities with other territories, product lines and the inside sales team.
Provide forecasts, weekly reports, marketing intelligence and information to supervisor and other company personnel as required. Apply Salesforce.com daily by updating and adding notes, customer information, etc.
Available to travel overnight approximately 50% of time.
Report sales data optimally through CRM (SFDC) and other tools.
How will you get here?Education
Bachelors degree, sciences preferred.
Experience
3+ years of sales experience, familiarity with or science background preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong interpersonal, oral, written communication, and presentation skills
Languages: Proficiency in English and Arabic for business; proficiency in additional languages is encouraged
Computer proficiency in MS Office and internet applications
